Blacksmithing
COURSE OUTLINE:
Blacksmithing techniques have been used for centuries to make a great variety of lasting functional and decorative objects. With basic knowledge of a few simple techniques such as hammering, twisting, chiselling and punching, unique results can be achieved by forming the metal when hot. The course will include short demonstrations to the group by the tutor when required, with the majority of the course taking the form of practical progress on your own personal project, and individual guidance from the tutor when required
