Mark Making in Felt

The process of wet felting can produce exciting results, by constructing the felt surface in painterly way. Begin by experimenting with different art media on paper, then select chosen areas as a design basis for your felt. Discover how to mix colours by carding wool fibres, how to make pre-felts to create shapes, and how to use wool fibres for lines and forms. You can then interpret your designs to produce a series of exciting felt artworks.
