Creative Classes and Workshops

Artworks provides an exciting and varied programme of creative classes, workshops and activities, for all levels of abilities, based in a studio in Lavant, near Chichester, West Sussex.

• Wide range of subjects - including fused glass, silver jewellery, textiles and many more
• Courses suitable for all levels of ability - for beginners, those with some experience, and those wanting to develop acquired skills further
•  Experienced tutors - a group of practising local artists with relaxed, helpful teaching styles  
• Studio premises - providing inspiring and well-equipped space for all classes and workshops   
• Affordable prices - most courses include all materials and equipment*, plenty of refreshments and a light lunch for one-day workshops
• (*Extra charge for silver, or own purchase of fabrics required, on some courses as indicated *) 
• One-Day Workshops - Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 9.30am to 3.30pm, in a wide range of creative subjects  
• Evening Classes - in Silver Jewellery for all abilities, Monday evenings, 7pm - 9pm 
• 5-Week Courses - regular morning sessions in Creating a Landscape in Textiles, and Traditional Stained Glass with Painting
  
• Fused Glass Studio Days - one day a month,an opportunity for those with some experience to work on their own project ideas 
• Textiles Open Workshops - a weekly session for anyone with an interest in Textiles
  
• Level 2 (equivalent) in Textiles - a course of 3 units covering a range of techniques and then designing and making a textiles item/s
  
• Drawing Open Workshops - Saturdays fortnightly, for anyone who enjoys drawing or wants to learn how 
• Young Artists - Tuesdays after school for young people aged 12 and over 
  
• Arty Parties - a fun and creative way to celebrate, with a choice of activities  
• School visits and workshops - individually designed for each school, from a range of creative project ideas
